Women SHOs sent home after catfight

The incumbent and former female stationhouse officers of Bahadurabad Police Wednesday night fought like two female wrestlers in the middle of the official premises to the amusement of all the male cops around them.

“An easygoing argument suddenly worsened into a catfight between the two women. Within minutes the fur was flying everywhere in the air,” sources said.

Eyewitnesses said the former SHO, Zaibunisa, jumped on Shabana, the current station house officer, and tried to hold her in a chokehold but the latter countered the former’s attack with a sucker punch to her paunchy midsection.

“Both the women then grappled on the ground in a ball of entangled limbs. Kicking, punching, pulling each other’s hair, targeting each other with swearwords that you mostly expect from the male cops,” the eyewitness added.

Very soon, the portly but powerful Zaibunisa outfought the lighter and weaker Shabana.

“After suffering a few bruises Zaibunisa finally won the combat by injuring Shabana in the arm. The battered loser was taken to a hospital,” sources quoted another eyewitness as saying.

It can’t be said for sure if someone filmed this disgusting violation of the prestige of a law enforcement office. As soon the word reached the higher officials, both the women cops were suspended immediately.

“DIG of Police East sent both the female officers home saying this breach of code of conduct is outrageous and unforgivable,” sources said.
