Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday said that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb would continue till the elimination of the last terrorist from Pakistan.
Sharif was briefed about the professional and operational preparations during his visit to the Lahore Corps Headquarters.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS spoke about the internal and external security situation of the country, Operation Zarb-e-Azb and intelligence-based operations during his address. Gen Sharif said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has seen great success, adding that the operation has had positive effects on the cities and the operations based on intelligence have improved the security situation of the country.
