The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued a contempt of court notice to secretary Finance for not ensuring judicial allowance to employees despite court’s order.
Justice Syed Manzor Ali Shah of LHC was hearing the case, during which, petitioner’s counsel apprised the court that the authorities have not given judicial allowance to the workers despite court’s order. He added that the Punjab government’s intra-court appeal on this matter has also been disposed of.
The court has summoned secretary Finance on July 22 for arguments.
