LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s Punjab Organiser Chaudhry Sarwar has constituted an ‘Ethics and Disciplinary Committee’ to check for financial irregularities and violation of the party discipline, sources claimed.
Chaudhry has also extended the date for submission of application forms for party tickets for the upcoming local body elections from July 15 to July 25.
He said the final party candidates would now be notified on Aug 20 instead of Aug 10.
Sarwar made these announcements at a news conference here on Saturday. PTI Punjab Deputy organisers Sibtain Khan, Omar Sarfraz Cheema, opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and PTI Women’s Wing Punjab President Salooni Bukhari were present on the occasion.
