The administration of Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, was unable to appoint 200 teachers and administrative staff due to pressure and threat from influential groups, according to sources.
A high-level probe committee of the Higher Education Department (HED) had declared the entire election process of teachers from grade 18 to grade 21 questionable and dubious.
The committee had recommended the authorities concerned to declare the appointments null and void in its report submitted to the governor over five months ago.
