ISLAMABAD:
A recently constituted 69 member advisory council of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf gave a go-ahead on Thursday for re-organising the party, notably in Punjab, after the PTI decided to welcome the new politicians from other parties in its fold.
The council also decided to return the salaries of its members of the National Assembly, for the period they were in a sit-in in Islamabad last year.
Talking to a local media outlet, participants of the meeting claimed that Sindh and Punjab’s re-organisation of the party should top the agenda.
Punjab, by virtue of being the main electoral battleground, remained the focus of attention during the meeting, said one of the participants.
Many party leaders from Punjab informed the leadership that politicians of other parties were willing to join the PTI.
