LAHORE
The mother and father of Senior journalist Hassan Belal Zaidi were found murdered in their Model Town house on Wednesday night, according to sources.
Initial police findings reported that the door of the house was locked and Dr Javaid Zaidi’s body was found in his bedroom, while Mrs Kausar’s body was found in the basement.
A relative claimed that she had contacted the couple a day earlier.
According to police officials, the couple were killed with a sharp-edged weapon, and the condition of the bodies showed that the murders took place at least two days ago.
The car was also missing, reported sources.
Police have started investigations and are looking for forensic evidence in the house.
