The police arrested a three-member gang involved in looting foreigners including diplomats and women, recovered looted cash and valuables from their possession on Thursday.
Kohsar police station SHO, Hakim Khan, has said that the police on complaints of diplomats carried out the operation and arrested a three-member gang of criminals which during the preliminary investigation admitted looting and snatching purses from Deputy Ambassador of Bosnia, Sri Lankan Commercial Attaché, Cuban, Italian diplomats and foreigner women in Super an Jinnah Super Markets.
The police recovered snatched cash, valuables, USBs from the possession of the nabbed members of the criminal gang identified as Umer Shahzad, Awais Abbasi and Hamza.
The police after registering a case against the detainees at respective police station have started an investigation.
