KOHAT
At least four people were killed while several injured in incidents of violence in Kohat on Wednesday.
A man was reportedly killed by his opponents in Muhammadzai, gunned down by Nazar Gul and his brother Umar Hayat.
According to a police report, Asim Nisar was murdered by the assailants, who managed to escape after the crime.
Another man was killed in a firing incident between two rival groups in Jangal Khel, a police report stated Arshad Din was killed while Suleman was critically wounded.
The third case was of Muhammad Zahid, a resident of Orakzai Agency, who was shot dead in Dal Shahzadi, while the assailants also managed to escape in the incident.
A man died when a motorbike collided with a truck on Marai Road, the deceased being verified as Zulfiqar Ali.
Cases have been registered in each incident and further investigation is under way.
