A woman was allegedly stripped naked by a gang of five persons, including an Indian army soldier, in Udhampur district of Indian-held Kashmir, according to a report on Hindustan Times website.
“A woman was stripped in full public view by five persons in Jaganoo area of Udhampur,” Udhampur district commissioner said.
“The woman was intercepted by the gang as she was riding pillion on a motorcycle. When she resisted, the accused overpowered her and stripped her publicly,” added the DC.
A video of the incident was also recorded by the accused, which has since gone viral on messaging service, Whatsapp.
Police have registered a case and has started its investigation, claiming to have arrested three persons. One of the accused is believed to be an Indian army soldier.
