Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Corps Headquarters Gujranwala on Saturday where he was briefed on the recent train accident near Wazirabad.
The CM was told that the rescue operation was carried out with effective coordination between the civil administration and the Army.
Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic accident.
He said the Army is rendering historic and exemplary services in the war against terrorism. The whole nation is standing by the Army in the war to eliminate terrorism from the country.
