Three people, including a police constable, were killed and four others injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Friday.
A policeman, Zafar-ul-Hassan, 28, son of Jawed, and a citizen, Syed Hassan, 24, son of Shakeel, were gunned down by unknown armed men at a petrol pump in Korangi 1 ½. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for autopsies.
According to rescue sources, the body of a 60-year-old man was recovered from Shershah. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.
Another policemen, Shahid, 30, son of Ahmad, was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen in Mushrraf Colony in HawkesBay. He was rushed to CHK for treatment.
Rehan, 24, son of Aslam, was shot at and injured when he offered resistance to bandits during robbery bid in Zia Colony, Sector 32/A in Korangi. He was brought to JPMC for treatment. A boy, Anzala, 16, son of Mumtaz Ali Bloch, was shot at and injured by unknown armed men in Meera Naka, Lyari. He was shifted to CHK for treatment.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old youth, Kamaran, was shot at and injured by unidentified armed men in SaeedabadBaldiaTown. He was rushed to CHK for treatment.

Ahmad, 24, son of Jahangir, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in Khayaban-e-Ittehad in Defense. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.
In another incident, a 30-year-old unidentified man died when a vehicle hit him at Jogi Morr in Landhi. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities.
The four-day-old body of a man, aged abut 40, was recovered from Lasbella Drain. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy.
