KPK, AJK and Islamabad jolted by 4.9 magnitude earthquake

An earthquake with magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale jolted upper parts of the country including Swat, Muzaffarabad, Malakand, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Batagram and adjoining areas and capital Islamabad around 12:18 pm on Thursday.

The earthquake created fear and panic among the residents, however, no casualty or damage has been reported from any part of the country.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of quake was 17km northeast of Muzaffarbad.
