ISLAMABAD:
Top military commanders in Pakistan are likely to meet in the coming days and discuss the interference of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) in the internal matters of Pakistan, and their ‘funding’ of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The corps commanders meeting, to be presided over by army chief General Raheel Sharif, comes against the backdrop of a BBC report that on June 24 claimed that the MQM had links with India’s prime spy agency.
He said the military establishment is apparently not satisfied with the response of the federal government to the report.
