Hayat re-elected to PFF amid controversy

KARACHI:

Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat is all set to continue to head the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) as president for another four years, after being elected by a two-third majority of the voters at the PFF congress in Abbotabad’s Hotel Legrand, Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, a Lahore Court order stated that PFF elections cannot take place; however, the PFF officials went along with their plan claiming that they never received any legal notice.

The PFF elections were supervised by AFC director of member associations Sanjeevan Balasingam.
