LAHORE:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday indicted Mustafa Kanju and six others accused in the murder case of a Lahore youth Zain.
The court also instructed the counsels of both parties to prepare their final arguments and present them in court on July 7.
Mustafa Kanju, son of former minister of foreign affairs Siddique Kanju, confessed to firing the fatal shots that ended 16-year-old orphan Zain’s life.
He said Zain was not the target of the fire, nor did he intend to kill Zain or anyone else.
He was arrested after a case was registered against him under 7-ATA and Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
