ISLAMABAD:
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif discussed Indian involvement in terror funding in Pakistan at a meeting at the Prime Minister House on Tuesday, according to sources.
The PM and COAS spoke about recent disclosures made in a BBC documentary which alleged that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) received Indian funding to carry out subversive activities.
The security situation at Pakistan’s eastern and western borders was also examined.
A team of investigators from Scotland Yard arrived in Islamabad yesterday to question a suspect arrested in connection with the case earlier in April.
