Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and President of Punjab Labour Wing Ashraf Sohna has resigned from all party posts. He said that PPP’s decline had begun after general elections and Manzoor Watto was creating ‘Watto league’ in Punjab rather than strengthening PPP, Dunya News.
Talking to media at Lahore Press Club, Ashraf Sohna hurled allegations at PPP Punjab President Manzoor Watto.
He said that Manzoor Wattoo had given important posts to his own family yet Asif Ali Zardari had not taken any notice.
Ashraf Sohna said that PPP’s decline had begun after general elections of 2013 yet PPP had not learnt from any of its mistakes and therefore, the party was destined to repeat them.
He said that he is leaving PPP not politics and may review the situation of joining another party in the coming days.
Earlier, Pakistan Today had already informed its readers regarding grievances of Sohna and his possible parting of ways with the party.
