LAHORE:
The Punjab University Syndicate quashed Abdul Qadir Gilani’s bachelor’s degree on Saturday, the eldest son of Former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani, on charges of impersonation.
Appearing in the BA examination 2005-6, Abdul Qadir was first accused of causing disturbance in the examination hall after being caught using unfair means.
The case was re-opened and the PU initiated a de novo inquiry into the matter. The Syndicate decided with a majority vote that the BA degree of Abdul Qadir be quashed.
