Eye-witness identifies Saad Aziz as Debra Lobo attacker

KARACHI:

An eye witness identified Saad Aziz as the main accused in the attempted murder of Debra Lobo, American educationist in Pakistan, on Saturday.

Aziz, who is also among the main accused in the Safoora bus carnage case, was identified during a parade held for the purpose in the anti-terrorist court. Identity of the eye-witness has been withheld due to security reasons.

Aziz is currently under physical remand of security forces in relation to his suspected involvement in over 20 terrorism cases.

Ms Lobo, a US national and vice principal of Karachi’s Jinnah Medical and Dental College, was shot at and wounded in the month of April when four suspected terrorists on two motorcycles attacked her on Shaheed-i-Millat Road.
