The Excise and Taxation Department (ETD) has issued a notice to seal Attock Oil Refinery (AOR) for not paying its defaults.
The defaulted money is of land tax which is almost Rs 7.2 million. Despite issuance of ETD notice time and again, the AOR did not pay the amount. Finally, the AOR is issued a notice for its sealing.
As per ETD, big companies and refineries like AOR do not pay taxes timely due to which the department is facing numeral financial challenges and other problems.
