The Punjab Assembly on Friday passed a resolution pertaining to the BBC report about Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) receiving funds from Indian spy agency, RAW.
The resolution was tabled by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and approved with consensus.
It calls on the government to form a high-level commission to probe allegations made in the report against the MQM.
According to the resolution, if allegations are proven, proceedings under Article 6 of the constitution should be initiated against MQM chief Altaf Hussain and others involved.
On June 24, the BBC carried an investigative report which claimed MQM had received funding from India. The report further claimed that MQM workers had also received training in India.
The allegations made in the BCC report have been denied by the MQM while the Indian government has called them baseless.

Respected Sir,
With due reverence, I humbly submit that Ministry of Foreign Affairs had advertised different positions from Grade 1 to 14 in the national dailies of Pakistan.
As per the advertisement, I submitted my application for appointment against the Disable Quota along with all the relevant documents. I appeared in the test and interview held on 29th March 2015 and 1st April 2015 respectively, which have been cleared by me. Only two candidates, who are disabled, were called for test and interview as per letter dated 24th March 2015 and according to that I appeared before the Departmental Selection Committee.
Sir, now I have come to my knowledge that by set-a-siding the criteria in abeyance by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appointments of the sons of serving and retired servants of Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been made without assigning any reasons. Regrettably, it is bring to your kind notice that 25 post of Naib Qasid has been advertised in the national dailies whereas Ministry of Foreign Affairs have selected and appointed about 42 peoples which is over and above the post advertised without adopt the criteria of quota system and other terms and conditions as indicated in the Esta Code. Ministry of Foreign Affairs No. Est(VII)-3/1/2015 dated 21-04-2015 for your kind perusal and favourable action please. A fair investigation in this matter may kindly be ordered which should be conducted through the Investigation you representative. Deserving candidates have been totally ignored and favouritism system has been adopted in the tenure of present civilian Government who have determined to finished the recommendations, safarash, and bribery for any matter.
Sir, I would like to know that why the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took this trouble for advertising the situations in the National Dailies and spent a large amount of money of the Government on the advertisements, if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to be enrolled the candidates who are sons and daughters of the service and retiring employees of the Ministry ignoring the people who are jobless, insolvent and needy and there was no need of advertisement of situation to be published in the National Dailies. Throughout Pakistan, the needy, insolvent and jobless peoples have been given bad impression due to this reason and our trust has broken on the elected Government.
It is pointed out to mention here that I am a disable person and have provided all kind of evidences of my disability. The academic requirement advertised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is “Primary” pass whereas I am Matriculate and the Government of Pakistan have also reserved a quota for the disable and minority community. When Ministry of Foreign Affairs is recruiting the candidates, it should have to be adopt the Government Policy and if the Ministry did not like to adopt the Government policy, then there is no need of advertisement of any vacant positions in the national dailies. I also point out here that my father has been died. I am solely depending on my elder brother who is affording me with trouble.
In view of the above mentioned facts, I earnestly request to your kind honour that highlight in national assembly & any legal forum for my appointment against the disable quota be issued for which I and my family will pray for your long life and happiness.
