Security forces on late Friday conducted an operation in Malir and apprehended Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Assistant Director and shifted him to an undisclosed location.
According to sources, the forces carried out an operation in Liaquat Market in Malir and arrested KDA, AD Atif Ahmed. He was shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. Ahmed has been arrested in allegations of China cutting and corruptions. The arrest is part of the ongoing crackdown against criminals and land grabbers of the city. It is to be mentioned here that the KDA director was also arrested in April.
