Pakistan Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring about a new era of change in economic growth and prosperity in the region.
He said the current investment and cooperation in railways would make it cost affective which would not only facilitate local passengers but it would also be beneficial for Chinese businesspersons.
The minister said Chinese friends were interested to cooperate in manufacturing and rehabilitation of new locomotives and communication system, passenger and freight trains and other sections of the department.
“Pakistan and China are all weather friends and this friendship has a historical base of relationship,” he said.
