Zardari leaves for Dubai today

KARACHI:

Former president of Pakistan and co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari left for Dubai on Wednesday, according to party sources.

However, they said they were not aware of reasons for his sudden flight and the number of days he planned to stay in the United Arab Emirates.

“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari did not accompany him and media reports in this regard are not true. He is here till late Wednesday though his future plan about international travel is not known,” a PPP source told a private media outlet.

Mr Zardari’s departure came a day after his elder sister and key leader of the party Faryal Talpur made the same move on Tuesday.
