ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated on Thursday that the privatisation of K Electric would not be reversed, and that the focus should be on electricity generation, according to a private media outlet’s report.
The prime minister is said to have made the remarks during the 16th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Energy at the premier’s residence.
During the meeting, Secretary Water and Power Younus Dagha briefed the Cabinet on load management in Ramazan.
