Gangs looting people in FIA, police uniforms arrested

Police claimed to have caught two robbery gangs and arrested their nine members, who were targeting expatriates in FIA uniforms, while Rs15 million worth of looted cash and stolen vehicles have been recovered from them.

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains told a press conference held at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines that the gangs were also involved in dacoity and vehicle snatching.

He said three members of “Tiger gang” were arrested with their ringleader, Akhtar Husain alias Tiger, Aslam Khan and Ali Javed, who also confessed to have committed robberies in Greece and Italy.

He said the accused during investigation admitted committing more than 80 robberies in different areas of the city.

He further claimed that they would mostly target people outside money exchange shops, banks and overseas Pakistanis leaving airport.

  1. Horrible. Why is police uniform available so easily? Can't there be a check on it that uniforms should be issued to only those who show police card?

  2. Why are these scums faces covered, let everyone see them and possibly dish them out some of their own medicine!
