An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday abandoned as many as 15 witnesses of prosecution after declaring them unnecessary in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
ATC Judge Rai Muhammad Ayub Khan was hearing the case at Adiala Jail. The prosecution produced at least 15 witnesses before the court. The witnesses were later abandoned by the court claiming that their evidence was not necessary for the case.
