The government had announced that there would be no load shedding during sehar and iftar times, without defining the duration of the two rituals. But the fact is that these two occasions last for only half an hour each. But in the garb of saving electricity for them, load shedding has been escalated to an extreme degree. Thus now electricity is switched off after every hour of its supply during the day as well as the night, amounting to an actual total of 14 hours per 24 hours. This is how our government uses sacred excuses to hoodwink the people just as they did when Raymond Davis was let go.
