In the wake of hard allegations aired by Asif Ali Zardari in hard and threatening expression, the Prime Minister has come up with his unequivocal support for the vital institution of Army. The PM has rightly stressed on the need to shut down any controversial statements liable of shaking the resolve and morale of the Armed Forces. Any individual’s alleged misdeeds of the past should not be politically propagated as allegations on the whole institution. Our valiant Armed Forces in line with government’s vision have waged a courageous across the board war against the heinous menace of terrorism in all its forms. The Interior, Defence and Information Ministers have duly shielded the Armed Forces’ dignity in view of the controversial statements.
