Progress expected in Imran Farooq’s murder case next week

Important developments are expected next week in the murder case of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Imran Farooq.

According to the sources in the interior ministry, Scotland Yard would be given an access to the accused persons linked with Imran Farooq murder case. The MQM leader Imran Farooq’s murder incident was still a mystery who was killed in London’s Green Lane on September 16, 2010.

However, arrested person from Chaman border Mohsin Ali was declared a key accused in this case. It was said that Scotland Yard team would soon pay a visit to Pakistan to hold joint investigation with Pakistani team to interrogate the involved persons in the murder case.

Scotland Yard had already applied for custody of Mohsin Ali and Kashif while Mohsin Ali was arrested by security forces along with Khalid Shamid from Chaman border. However, both the countries have no extradition treaty signed so far to exchange the prisoners.
