Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar who has recently been in the limelight for his controversial statements has decided not to talk to the media for at least six months, according to a report published on the NDTV website.
Parrikar had recently made the headline when he expressed his faith in the “neutralising terrorists through terrorists only” theory.
His statements were widely condemned within and outside India.
“I will not speak much. Because if I speak, people start looking for things,” NDTV quoted the Indian defence minister as saying.
