The government is trying its best to ensure early completion of energy projects, said Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday in a meeting with a delegation led by German Ambassador Dr Cyril .
Matters of mutual cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
On this occasion, the Punjab CM said that Pakistan and Germany enjoy good relations as they both are trade partners. He told the delegation that the provincial government would set up 1200MW gas project while federal government has decided to invest on 2400 MW gas project in Punjab.
He further stated that electricity production has been started from 100 MW solar project.
Moreover, German officials pledged to support Pakistan in implementing energy related plans.
