Punjab Forests Secretary Capt Jahanzeb Khan on Saturday visited Ramazan Sasta Bazaars and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made to facilitate the consumers.
Town Municipal Administration and RawalTown officers briefed the Secretary on management and working of the five bazaars set up in RawalTown. He was informed that foolproof security measures were adopted, besides provision of necessary facilities of parking, covered protected sheds and sitting places for old citizens and children.
The Secretary inspected the stalls in Committee Chowk, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed and Haidri Chowk Ramazan Bazars and inquired about the supply and demand of daily use items.
He said under the instruction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif every possible step had been adopted to check price hike and quality of essential commodities of life.
He said that the government was trying to ensure the provision of consumable items on fixed prices.
Town Municipal Officer (TMO) Rawal Town Mir Akmal and Assistant Commissioner City Qurat ul Ain Malik were present on this occasion.
