Islamabad Police have nabbed eight outlaws including two bike lifters and recovered motorcycle, heroin and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Station House Officer of Koral police station Inspector Abid Ikram along with ASI Shakeel Ahmad Butt and others nabbed two bike lifters Saddam Khan s/o Javed Khan and Muhammad Shah s/o Ahmad Nabi residents of Nowshera.
After preliminary investigation, police recovered a motorbike (Honda-125) from them while more recovery is also expected from them as raids are being conducted to arrest their accomplice.
Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhammad Shah nabbed Rizwan Ahmed s/o Faiz Ahmed resident of Taramri Islamabad who was wanted to police in a murder case. Sub-Inspector Anees from Khanna police station nabbed a drug pusher Abdul Qayum and recovered 250 gram heroin from him.
ASI Asif Raza from Tarnol police arrested Ismail, Saif and Fiaz for selling petroleum products illegally in the area while Bhara Kau police apprehended a dacoit Farid Gul and recovered looted valuables from them. Moreover, police held five professional alm-seekers.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and further directed all police officials to accelerate efforts to curb activities of anti-social elements.
