Ubaid K2, Naeem Siddique sent on 90-day remand to Rangers

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday sent criminals arrested from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine-Zero, Ubaid K2 and Naeem Siddique on 90-day remand to Rangers custody.

The Rangers presented three accused directors of Fishermen Cooperative Housing Society Muhammad Khan Chachar, Kamran Abbasi and Rana Muhammad Shahid before the ATC. They were arrested by Rangers earlier this week on charges of corruption, smuggling and facilitating terrorists.

The law officer said that Chachar was the front man of a woman leader. He said the criminal was to be investigated regarding several cases including killing of Pakistan Steel Mill’s late chairman Sajjad Hussain. He also said that Chachar used to ‘sell’ government vacancies to different people. The officer further said that Shahid and Abbasi were needed to be investigated for criminal cases including extortion and target killing.

The Rangers also presented Ubaid K2 and Naeem Siddique before the court. The criminals cried for mercy during the court hearing, however, the ATC granted custody of all criminals to Rangers for 90 days.
