The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday rejected a petition seeking transfer of Axact Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shoaib Shaikh to Islamabad.

According to details, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to contact the trial court as the case against the software company and its owner was being heard there.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had filed a petition in one of Karachi’s local courts seeking transfer of the cases against Shaikh to Islamabad. The court has ordered for not shifting Shaikh to the federal capital without listening his counsel. It should be noted that fake degree cases against Axact have also been filed in Islamabad and the federal investigation body wants to shift Shaikh to Islamabad for further investigation.
