ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday ordered re-election in NA-19 constituency, Haripur, according to reports.
A three-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja heard a review petition pertaining to the polls held in Haripur and ordered fresh polls.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Omer Ayub had won the constituency during the May 2013 general elections. Later his rival Raja Amir Zaman was declared winner after a re-count in the constituency.
