Rangers arrest ‘Fish Harbor’ VC Sultan Siddiqui

KARACHI:

Rangers personnel raided the residence of Sultan Qamar Siddiqui, Vice Chairman Fishermen’s Cooperative Society in Thursday’s wee hours, according to local media sources.

Following the raid at Siddiqui’s house located in Karachi area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, he is currently being interrogated in connection with alleged corruption.

Meantime, paratroopers confiscated important documents of Fishermen Cooperative Society from his residence.

The sources said the FCS Chairman Nisar Murai has moved abroad. It should be mentioned here that there are multiple corruption cases against him. Meantime, Siddiqui is also accused of abetting Lyari’s gang-war with millions of rupees from Fish Harbor.
