PM urges citizens to pray for peace during Ramzan

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the nation on the advent of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak and urged them to pray for the country’s peace and prosperity during the sacred month.

“Our government, with the blessings of Allah Almighty and with the prayers of its people, has made many achievements in terms of economy and defence during the last two years,” the Prime Minister said in a message to the nation.

The Prime Minister called upon people to pray during the Sehr, Iftar and Taraveeh so that the country remains safe from any external conspiracies and achieves progress and development.

He said that the enemy was continuously engaged in new conspiracies and was bent upon destabilizing the Pakistan.

“But we, Insha Allah, will not let the enemy succeed in its nefarious designs, and will foil every plot against our sacred land through determination, courage and will,” he said.

The Prime Minister said Operation Zarb-e-Azb had succeeded in fighting terrorists and added that the country was making rapid progress with each passing day.
