RAWALPINDI:
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, who is on a three-day official visit to Russia, met Russian Land Forces Commander Colonel General Oleg Sayukov in Moscow Monday, sources claimed.
According to Director General of ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa, the two sides discussed regional security, bilateral defence cooperation and high level military exchanges.
Earlier, the army chief was accorded with guard of honor in a ceremony held in front of Kremlin.
On the occasion, Bajwa said, Russian band also played Pakistan’s national anthem.
