High Court (IHC) has issued notice to NAB in a case filed by an affectee of Modaraba scandal and sought reply.
Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of IHC heard the case filed by Shahid Hussain on Monday.
Zafar ul Hassan Joya, counsel for the petitioner appeared in the court and plead that his client had given Rs 2.5 million to Mufti Ehsan in Modaraba business. NAB had arrested the accused and others for committing fraud and the culprit had returned the looted money to on June, 20, 2013.Yet, NAB had not returned his money after having received it from Mufti Ehsan.
The judge issued notice to NAB and sought a reply. The hearing of the case has been adjourned indefinitely.
