Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain said on Monday that propaganda against the proposed China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project by adversaries will have to be met with prudence and vigilance.
Addressing a convocation of the National Security and War Course at the National Defence University at Islamabad, Hussain urged the nation not to heed to propagandas and stand by the government to make the project a succeed.
He said that the nation must support the government and armed forces to overcome the daunting challenges that the country faced.
The presidents said many countries have unfounded reservations regarding the CPEC project and the government was committed to completing the project with all seriousness as it was of vital importance for the future of Pakistan.
Hussain said that Pakistan was fully capable to meet all challenges with the support of its people and armed forces. He furher added that the government was making sincere efforts for the revival of economy and ensuring internal security.
