Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other high profile personalities have been stopped from visiting Murree and other neighbouring tourism resorts after warning from intelligence agencies, sources said.
According to sources, intelligence agencies in a letter to the Interior Ministry warned that the Indian spy agency, RAW, has sent its terrorist agents to Pakistan which could be present in Murrree, Patriata, Ayubia and Bhurban areas.
The agencies also sent this report to PM House advising prime minister, cabinet members and other high profile personalities not to visit these tourism resorts, sources added.
Pakistani intelligence agencies have collected proofs about the presence of Indian spies and terrorists in these areas, sources said, adding that forces could launch an offensive operation against RAW terrorists.
Sources added that terrorists trained by India were also planning to carry out terror attacks in Swat, Giltgit-Baltistan and other tourism attractions in the northern part of the country.
Security forces would soon launch a forceful operation against this anti-Pakistan group to prevent any terror bid in any part of the country.
Sources said that the prime minister has not visited Murree after such intelligence reports while his visit to Murree was not expected in Ramazan.
