A prisoner committed suicide in Mach Jail by hanging himself on Sunday.
Jail sources said that a convict imprisoned in Mach Jail for the last two years after he was found guilty in theft charges, ended his life by hanging himself.
Sources said that frustration and defamation among the family and relatives forced the accused to take this step. Torture by jail authorities was stated to be one of the main reasons for the suicide.
