- Rickshaw driver saves two from drowning, drowns himself while saving another two
A rickshaw driver on Saturday managed to save two people from drowning while drowned saving two other.
Rescue sources said that a woman belonging to Karachi, who was on a visit to her sister’s house in Syedwala, had come to the river bank along with children to enjoy.
While swimming, the family members went into deep water of Ravi and drowned. A rickshaw driver near the scene managed to save the woman and her son. The rickshaw driver also drowned in an attempt to rescue the drowning children.
