Altaf asks Sharif to apologise for calling deceased ‘flies’

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain said on Friday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should apologise for calling the deceased as ‘flies’.

Talking to MQM supporters via telephone, the MQM chief said that the PM had said that strikes are held in the metropolitan city even ‘if a fly dies’. Altaf Hussain condemned the PM’s statement and said that Nawaz Sharif should choose his words carefully.

MQM leader said that his party is finding the names of the businessmen and industrialists who had ‘complained’ to the PM.

Commenting about Governor Sindh, Altaf Hussain said that there is uncertainty as to whether his name has been included in the Exit Control List (ECL) or not. Altaf Hussain said that had he been the Governor, he would have resigned from his post.
