MQM’s Amir Khan sent to jail till June 25

KARACHI:

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi remanded senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Amir Khan, into police custody for two more weeks, a local media outlet reported.

Amid tight security, Khan was produced in the ATC where the judge sent him on two-week judicial remand ending on June 25.

Amir Khan’s request for B-class in the jail was also approved.

Khan is booked in a case registered by Rangers for giving refuge to the absconders and convicted criminals in Nine Zero – the MQM’s headquarters – and its adjacent areas.
