PM vows to end loadshedding in three years

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has claimed to end loadshedding in a time period of three years, according to local media sources.

Nawaz asserted this in the National Assembly while replying to points raised by PPP.

The PM said that there would be no load-shedding in Pakistan after three years, saying that work on different energy projects was underway rapidly, including coal-based power project in Thar and Port Qasim and Hub projects.

He claimed that 18-hour load-shedding was not being carried out anywhere in the country, reportedly.

He announced that motorways would be constructed in KPK, Sindh and Balochistan as well to provide better facilities to the people, authorities claimed.
