DSP SITE shot dead in Karachi, investigation on-going

KARACHI:

Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) SITE area, Majeed Abbas, was assassinated in an armed attack on his vehicle in Karachi, a local media outlet reported on Tuesday.

According to media reports, the incident took place in Shah Latif Town where unknown gunmen riding motorbikes fired shots on DSP Majeed Abbas’s vehicle, leaving him and his driver critically injured.

The police officer was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he succumbed to injuries. Police arrived at the scene and started investigation.

The martyred officer was serving as DSP SITE Industrial Area of Karachi.
